Stepping Stone Quilt Pattern - Layer Cake Friendly

This simple pattern uses a layer cake or 10 inch squares to create a scrappy balanced look.  The instructions are for two sizes a baby quilt measuring 42.5" x 45.5" and a throw size that measures 56.5" x 63.5".  For the baby size quilt you will need (23) 10inch squares, 1/2 yard for binding, 1.5 yards for backing, and crib size batting.  For the throw size you will need 1 layer cake or (42) 10inch squares, 1/2 yard for binding,  3.5 yards for backing, and throw sized batting.
