Memorial Quilt Deposit – Custom Memory Blanket Made from Loved One’s Shirts
Honor a loved one’s memory with a handmade memorial quilt, created from their most meaningful shirts. Whether it’s clothing from a parent, spouse, child, or dear friend, this custom blanket offers a comforting way to preserve their legacy. Each quilt is designed to highlight logos and graphics without cutting through them and features soft minky backing for a warm, lasting keepsake.
📌 Custom T-Shirt Quilt Deposit – How It Works
This listing is for a deposit only to begin your custom T-shirt quilt. The remaining balance (plus shipping) is due once your quilt is finished and ready to ship. Current turnaround time is 2–3 months from the time we receive your shirts. All other quilts in our shop are ready to ship.
💲 Pricing (Includes backing, batting, binding & quilting):
• Baby Quilt (up to 8 shirts, approx. 38" x 50") – $450
• Lap Quilt (up to 20 shirts, approx. 55" x 60") – $580
• XL Lap (21–25 shirts, approx. 58" x 70") – $690
• Twin (26–30 shirts, approx. 60" x 80") – $920
• XL Twin (31–35 shirts, approx. 65" x 90") – $1,070
Note: Final size may vary slightly depending on shirt layout. I’ll work with you directly during the design process.
🧵 Quilt Details
We carefully design your quilt layout to highlight the most meaningful parts of each shirt, ensuring logos and designs are kept whole. Every quilt is custom-built around your specific shirts, resulting in a one-of-a-kind memory blanket unique to you. Each quilt is professionally quilted with natural cotton batting and finished with a double-fold binding for durability. We use a longarm quilting machine for tight, even stitching to ensure your quilt lasts a lifetime. Each quilt is backed with soft, plush minky fabric—perfect for extra coziness and comfort.
Care: Wash delicate, tumble dry low or hang dry. Do not use fabric softener, especially with minky.
📦 After You Place Your Deposit
You’ll receive an email with shipping instructions for your shirts.
• Do not cut your shirts – we’ll do this for you.
• Already cut? Let us know ahead of time.
• Please wash shirts in water only, no detergent or softener.
• Label each shirt: indicate front, back, or both (both sides = 2 shirts).
• Stack/group clearly and note how each should be used.
Important:
✔ Let us know the size you’re ordering in the notes at checkout.
✔ Include a cell phone number so we can text an image of the quilt layout before quilting.
✔ Contact us first if you’d like to include anything besides T-shirts.
🚫 We CANNOT accept:
• Baby clothes or onesies
• Thick embroidery or rhinestones
• 3D elements, buttons, or logos on both sides of jerseys
• Baseball jerseys with button-up fronts
